The test has not changed its multiple-choice test format for at least 30 years, making it much more coachable than the SAT is. There is far less grammar to learn than you might think and there are dozens of ways to simplify the English section and gain tremendous scores.As an all the sections, students will discover ther benefits of connecting brain intelligence with heart intelligence resulting in fa more interest and far higher scores

Because the SAT has some non-multiple choice math questions, the ACT math is more guessable than is the SAT math. Also, the ACT allows the use of calculators for all the math questions- not so the SAT. If you or your student has a math challenge-whether to get a decent score or shoot for an 800- please record my first math lesson and it may well be the last one you will need!

The ACT is a far quicker reading test than the SAT, so there are a few students who may do better on the SAT reading. However, the phrase-reading and other speed reading techniques that my students learn more than make up for the faster pace of the reading.Most students are bored with pqrt of all of the reading and we have fun ways to overcome that challenge.
The ACT Science section is a misnomer- it could be called "The ACT charts and graphs reading section" with four or five science questions sprinkled in. A huge number of students are bored and mentally exhausted doing this section and can lose from 30 percent to 75 percent of their focus .I have a few great original tools th easily overcome the unique challenge this section poses. One technique that I will only share with my students- but the Jeopardy category for it would be "cartoon characters."
